The most interesting thing about Elon Musk's "homeworking is unacceptable" memo isn't whether he's right or not.
It's that he thinks he still has the power to decide how and where people work.
In a (near as dammit) full employment, post-Covid economy, it's the employees who decide how and where they want to work.
If their preferences aren't accommodated, they will walk. Tesla employees won't find it hard to get a better offer....
