The best way I know how to motivate myself, any time

There are a few things I try to do regularly - go running, see live music, write blog posts...
But there are days when, frankly, I can't be arsed. I'm tired. It's raining. There's a new Netflix show that sounds intriguing...
However, I've found a solution that seems to work for me. I simply remember the people in my life who no longer have the option to do the things I know I should be doing.
This year I lost three important people to cancer, heart disease and suicide. Knowing that I have the luxury of deciding how to use the most valuable non-renewable source we have - time - is (almost) always enough to keep me on the right track.
What about you?
